Hope for Today
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Revelation 3:11-13)
Even now we can have hope because we know that as believers in Christ our flight never ends. To secure our hope we hold fast to God’s promises in his Holy Scripture and rely on his Words for strength. We do not lose sight of the eternal glory to come so that we do not get lost in the deception of the world. We share our faith with others in hope and in prayer that they, too may join us in our eternal destination.
Stretch your faith for me; sacrificing worldly things shows me your willingness to obey me and I will reward you greatly in return for your good deed. Child, please never forsake me, for I want the best for your future. Always remember my love for you extends to the ends of the Earth and I will never hold anything against you. My desire is that you come to know me before it is too late. Look around you at the world’s current state and take note, for the time is soon coming when people will vanish and are raptured up to the heavens. This is why you must find quiet time alone with me to see how I may use you in these last days. Stand firm in your faith and eagerly await the white horse with the King behind the reigns. The trouble in the world is soon coming to a halt for those that believe. For those that do not believe in me and ask not for forgiveness – their days are numbered and they will see my great wrath upon this Earth during the seven years of tribulation. Come quickly child and pray for the salvation of your friends and family. I love you.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 16-18)
Prayer for the Day
Dear Father, thank you for your great plan for your people. As I learn and grow in righteousness please help me to make the best of today by putting your first. I ask that you help me to not fall prey to satan’s schemes, and that I learn to rise above the world and to set my eyes on your greatness. I strive to be my best every day and make a habit to seek you first continually for the rest of my life. Today, I take comfort in the hope of God alone. In Jesus great and mighty name I pray. Amen!
